Idea… perhaps Bonnie is from the same time period as Vint (as opposed to being from the 60s) but her sister died some years back… meaning Vint still time travels but he goes backwards at first instead of constantly forwards
(mostly as it removes the plot hole of Bonnie surviving in the past despite being in a different point in time… since with the logic of how it works she wouldn’t survive nearly that long)
(it also allows Vint to discover the pocket watch in the first episode in his current time instead of randomly waking up in the future!!!)
((also also if Bonnie knows about time travel beforehand -which i’m 50/50 split on- it would make more sense for her to talk directly TO Diana as opposed to Diana traveling in time and meeting her by chance))
